Part Time Clinical Nurse Specialist - Gynaecology

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a centre of excellence for research, development, education and care in the treatment of cancer.

The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Gynaecology Nurse to join us part time to provide support, patient education and advice to patients with a wide variety of Gynaecological cancers, from diagnosis, throughout their treatment and including follow-up. The part time role includes providing nursing support and advice forwards and colleagues as well as formal teaching within the on-site, school of cancer nursing and rehabilitation. It will also include leading and developing initiatives to improve the service.

You should have significant experience within the speciality and hold a bachelor’s degree in Cancer nursing or equivalent. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner, be able to prioritise and organise your workload and work under pressure. You will be expected to work autonomously as well as part of a team, with a case load across both sites in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
