We are looking to recruit a clinical fellow in Paediatric Oncology Drug Development to commence as soon as possible. Candidates will have experience in Paediatric Oncology at Specialist Registrar level or equivalent. Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (or equivalent) and a higher degree (or an interest in pursuing such research in the future) are desirable. Eligibility for GMC registration is required.

The positions will be key posts in the Paediatric and Adolescent Oncology Targeted Drug Development Programme. The Fellows will work very closely with multi-disciplinary team carrying out early clinical studies of agents in children and young people at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The team comprises Paediatric Drug Development Consultants, Research Nurses, Clinical Trial Co-ordinators and Data Managers. The Fellows will be involved in the care of children and young people enrolled on early clinical studies of new agents. In addition there will be opportunities to be involved in devising and writing early clinical studies, develop paediatric biomarker platforms and input into pilot imaging studies. The fellows will also have an opportunity to develop an interest in neuroblastoma, sarcoma, neuro-oncology, or leukaemia and will work alongside one other Drug Development Fellow already in post.
