An opportunity has arisen in the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust for an aseptic technician or registered Pharmacy Technician to work on a permanent basis within the Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit at Sutton. The work is varied, including cytotoxics, Clinical Trials and Gene Therapy. We supply these products to our NHS and Private wards and treatment areas including haematology, paediatrics and clinical trials.

You are offered the opportunity to specialise and further develop your career by participating in our aseptic training package. The post provides support to senior aseptic services staff in carrying out and coordinating the operational duties provided by the aseptic service. Previous experience of compounding in a hospital or industry asetpic unit is essential if applying as a non registered technician. No aseptic experience is required if applying as a registered Pharmacy Technician however a good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice is essential. Full training will be given. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Technician, Aseptic Services you will possess good communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, flexibility, willingness and good teamwork are essential.
