Information Analyst.  Band 6

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a centre of excellence for research, education and care in the treatment of Cancer.

The Trust has an outstanding reputation for Information and has developed an Information system which incorporates an integrated data warehouse. The Trust has an established information reporting solution, built using Cognos.

The information team helps support management and clinicians at all levels by providing information that supports both management and clinical decision making. We are looking for a motivated Information Analyst to join our small team, this role will be based on the Sutton site.

You will be educated to degree level, and have experience of manipulating complex databases, excellent analytical skills and the ability to collate, interpret and present information.

You should be experienced in using SQL and ideally possess a good knowledge of NHS data sets.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation. You will need to possess a logical and analytical approach to problem solving, be willing to, strong attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure.
