The Royal Marsden Hospital is Europe’s largest Oncology centre with sites in Chelsea and Sutton. The Diagnostic Imaging service provides an essential service to the Trust and includes CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound well as a general and IR service.

We are currently inviting applications from enthusiastic individuals for a full time band 7 breast and general ultrasonographer post to work on the Sutton site , due to the expansion of the general and breast US services.

The post holder will have a minimum of 4 years post registration BSc in radiography or equivalent and must hold a post graduate Ultrasound qualification related to general ultrasound. Breast US skills are desirable . The successful candidate should be an innovative, highly motivated ultrasonographer with good communication skills , written and verbal skills ,who is keen to contribute positively to the expanding US service .

The ideal candidates must demonstrate a commitment to professional development and show a keen interest in the future of their profession and the Diagnostic Imaging services. They will be expected to support both the service and its staff in continuing to maintain and develop the highest standards of imaging. In return the successful applicant will be offered a high standard of support towards their career pathway.
