Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist - Community

The Sutton Community Neuro Therapy Service is currently looking for a dynamic Physiotherapist, with experience of neurological conditions, to join our multidisciplinary community neuro-therapy service in Sutton Community Health services.  The Community Neuro therapy service consist of two teams the Stroke Early supported discharge team (ESD) & the Community neuro team (CNTT). The CNTT physiotherapy service offers both domiciliary & outpatient physio services to patients. This mix of services offers the successful candidate the potential to develop skills across these areas. 

As part of our excellent range of staff benefits and support, new starters to the Trust joining community services may be eligible for a £2000 payment if their post has been identified as a hard to fill role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Physiotherapist with strong core Physio skills and an interest to further develop their specialist skills working with adults with neurological impairments.

The post offers the opportunity to work as part of caring & dedicated team. The Multi-disciplinary team consists of: occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. There are opportunities for group work, joint goal-planning and integrated working. Staff are well-supported through supervision and the appraisal process. The team strives to constantly improve service delivery and contributions from all staff are highly valued.

We are committed to supporting CPD with staff training identified through the appraisal system, in service training, external courses and clinical supervision.

Excellent communication skills are required, as are good organisational skills and a flexible approach to everyday practice.

A driving license and use of a car is essential.
