As physiotherapists, we are key members of a multidisciplinary team geared to the rehabilitation of patients undergoing surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy in both in and outpatient settings. Oncology provides a challenging environment for developing a number of skills including clinical reasoning, communication and multi-professional working. On-going professional training and development is encouraged and supported.


Band 7 Haemato-oncology Physiotherapist, 37.5 hours per week, Sutton based.

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will lead and develop the physiotherapy service on the Haemato-oncology unit based at Sutton and  liaise closely with colleagues on the Chelsea site to provide seamless care for patients . Together with oncology experience we are looking for a physiotherapist with acute respiratory and rehabilitation skills to work as a part a multidisciplinary team with this challenging and rewarding patient group. You will be supported by senior colleagues, with regular supervision and in-service training.
