Paediatric Community Occupational Therapist

Sutton Community Health Services, delivered by the Royal Marsden are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in the Children’s Occupational Therapy team, based at Green Wrythe Lane Clinic.

The post is part time for 21 hours per week.

You will work closely with established multi-professional teams within Sutton Community Health Services and with outside services to deliver Occupational Therapy assessment, advice and treatment meeting the functional needs of children. The successful candidate will be flexible, organised and creative with good IT skills, and enjoy working collaboratively with other team members to support children and young people. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are committed to professional development, offering regular in-service training and peer group / one to one supervision. Internal and external courses are supported and there will be opportunities to develop the skills required for this post.

This Team will transition to be part of Sutton Health and Care Provider Alliance in April 2019. Sutton Health and Care (SHC) is an alliance between local partner health and social care organisations, which will be Hosted by Epsom and St Helier University NHS Trust from April 2019. The SHC Alliance was formed so that local health and care providers can work together to deliver high quality health and social care for Sutton residents and ensure that care will be coordinated around the needs of the person and will encompass all elements of care whilst supporting people in their homes to be independent and health for as long as possible.
