The Royal Marsden Hospital is Europe's largest Oncology centre with sites in Chelsea and Sutton. Diagnostic Imaging provides an essential service to the Trust and, as well as general x-ray service, includes CT, MRI, Mammogarphy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.

A full time Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Receptionist and Booking Coordinator is required for our Sutton site to support our service. The Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Department is currently inviting applicants from enthusiastic, well-motivated, capable and organised individuals to join our friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate must be an individual with a friendly, welcoming attitude and have excellent administration skills with an eye for detail. S/he will undertake a key role in delivery of our Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT service. Applicants would benefit from experience in a hospital or healthcare environment and must be able to work independently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate must be able to interact with staff and patients in a polite and confident manner, and will take an ongoing, proactive role in improving the service of our Department. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to professional development, an enthusiasm for their work and show a keen interest in the future of both their profession and the Diagnostic Imaging Service. They will be expected to support the service in continuing to maintain and develop the highest standards of imaging.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
