The Royal Marsden is currently embarking on implementing an ambitious IT Strategy and as a result is seeking to recruit a junior project managers in order to assist the organisation in delivering major IT and infrastructure projects.

As a result, the IT Change Team are looking to appoint a Project Manager who will manage multiple, high value projects as part of a larger programme of work from inception through to the end of the project lifecycle across a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings.

With over two years background in healthcare, and a track record of working in a project environment, the ideal candidate will be a good communicator with a desire to bring about structured change through delivery of IT solutions. The Project Manager will be conversant with the key stages of a PRINCE2 project lifecycle, and will be an excellent problem solver with the ability to break a complex task down into its individual components and devise a plan to deliver them.

The post is based at Sutton, however travel to and from other NHS sites will be part of the requirement of the role.
