An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Clinical Scientist to join our team in the Clinical Biochemistry section of the Blood Sciences department, based at the Sutton site of the Royal Marsden Hospital. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed team worker who can help the department maintain its UKAS accreditation, as well as develop some of the research potential of the department. The successful candidate should have completed a recognised clinical scientist training programme, and be registered to practice with the HCPC. You should have FRCPath Part I as a minimum, with evidence of good progress to completing full FRCPath.

The post holder will be expected to be involved in all aspects of service delivery including teaching, audit, and clinical liaison. In addition, there will be ample opportunity for personal development. This is an exciting time to join our department as we are currently changing our main routine and immunoassay analysers and tendering for a new LIMS: a perfect opportunity to get involved and advance the department.
