Today the hospital with its academic partner, The Institute of Cancer Research, forms the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe with over 40,000 patients from the UK and abroad seen each year.

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is ranked as one of the top NHS trusts in the country in the NHS national performance rankings. In October 2009, The Healthcare Commission’s Annual Health Check gave The Royal Marsden the highest score of 'excellent' for quality of services and financial management for the fourth year in a row.

Want to transform cancer services in west London?

RM Partners is the cancer alliance covering all NHS and partner organisations in north west and south west London. We have been given a unique opportunity to lead the country in transforming some key cancer pathways to ensure that cancers are diagnosed sooner, and that the diagnostic process is smoother and quicker.

We are looking to build on our existing team and to recruit individuals to lead and support delivery of exciting and innovative transformation projects across our partner organisations.

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated project or programme manager, keen to build relationships across organisational silos to improve care for patients. You will be willing to work flexibly with a wide range of stakeholders in a challenging operational environment, and have demonstrable experience of service improvement and transformation. It would be desirable if you have knowledge and experience of the way in which services currently operate in our patch.

We have opportunities available at different bands, focused on a variety of projects across west London. If you are interested in being part of a visionary and determined team, and want to make a real difference to improving cancer outcomes for our population, please do apply. We look forward to hearing from you.

Interviews will take place on 30th January.
