Royal Marsden – Bank Credit Controller – AfC Band 4

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing and successful Private Care Division within Europe’s largest cancer centre.

This position provides a vital role in ensuring that monies due to the Royal Marsden from private paying patients, medical insurers and/or other sponsors are paid both promptly and accurately. As an NHS trust fund, the income generated from private care services are a vital source of revenue to the organisation, ensuring services for our NHS patients.

Working within a team you will be responsible for the credit control of accounts, primarily focused on sponsorship for medical services provided by Middle Eastern Embassy’s and Companies. The role is office based in Wallington, though there may be a requirement to visit some of the sponsors in West London on occasion.

The successful candidate should have experience of working within credit control, excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be at an intermediate level in Excel with an eye for financial detail. They will be comfortable in dealing with people at all levels in a polite, empathic and professional manner. They will be customer-focussed, energetic, resilient and able to demonstrate initiative as well as prioritise a busy workload.

Desirable but not a requirement would be ICM qualified, Arabic speaking, medical sector experience, and use of Compucare software.
