Divisional Nurse Director - Clinical Services

Divisional Nurse Director – Private Care

Band 8C - £66,753-£77,906 Pa Inclusive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two highly motivated and experienced senior nursing professionals to join The Royal Marsden.  We are looking to appoint two Divisional Clinical Nurse Directors; one for the Clinical Services Division and one for Private Care.

The Royal Marsden is Europe’s largest cancer hospital, and one of the top four hospitals in the world leading cancer research. In the UK The Royal Marsden is consistently in the top five Trusts for patient and staff experience and patient safety. 95% of our staff would recommend the Trust as a place of treatment.

You will be an experienced nurse with proven ability to engage clinical and managerial teams in developing a high performance culture and will lead your team to continually improve patient care and operational performance.

You will provide strong visible senior leadership for nurses across the Division and the organisation, whilst engaging and supporting staff. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and overall provision of nursing services within the Division, ensuring alignment with Trust wide nursing and corporate strategies.

As a key member of the Divisional Management Team you will ensure the National Nursing agenda is reflected within the Division and work closely with the Divisional Director Clinical Services/Managing Director Private Care to deliver all key objectives.

We are looking for leaders who have prior experience of leading change and working effectively across multi-disciplinary teams to develop improvements in quality and efficiency. You must be able to establish credibility with a wide range of individuals and lead your teams with vision and drive to ensure success. You must be able to demonstrate that your leadership style reflects our values and behaviours.
