In Cancer Services, there are three Clinical Business Units (CBU):

CBU 1 - Breast, Plastics, Lung, Acute Oncology Services and the Medical Day Units (including the Kingston William Rous Unit)

CBU 2 - Rare Cancers (Haematology, Paediatrics, Neuro-oncology, Head & Neck, Thyroid, Skin and Sarcoma)

CBU 3 - Urology, Gynae and Gastrointestinal


We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and forward thinking managers to the positions of CBU Manager responsible for CBU 2 and CBU 3.  One will be a 15 month maternity leave cover that is also open to a fixed term contract or secondment.

These roles are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality services but is also key in supporting a wide range of clinical transformation projects including the development of a new ambulatory care and research facility in Sutton.  You must have a passion for excellence, an eye for detail and the ability to competently deliver against demanding pressures and timelines. You need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across the multi-disciplinary team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their general management experience in a friendly and supportive environment.
