The role of Sister /Charge Nurse is pivotal in supporting the delivery of our high standards care to all patients, their family and significant others. We are seeking a highly motivated nurse or cancer nurse who will work in collaboration with Matron - Patient flow, anaesthetic consultants and dedicated multi-professional team to lead the pre-assessment and admission service at our Chelsea site. You will clinically and professionally lead nurses and support administration staff in Admissions and Pre Assessment, undertaking both patient assessment and assessment of psychological well-being.

You will work closely with Patient flow Matron, Day surgical unit and Sutton Admissions and pre-assessment unit to streamline the pre-operative and admission pathways the organisation across the Trust. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical, operational and oncology/Surgical skills. Significant experience in a senior healthcare role is essential and willingness to undertake further training to fulfil the role both clinically and managerially.
