The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe with a national and international reputation for high quality patient care, research, development and education. As physiotherapists, we are key members of a multidisciplinary team geared to the rehabilitation of patients undergoing surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy in both in and outpatient settings. Oncology provides a challenging environment for developing a number of skills including clinical reasoning, communication and multi-professional working. On-going professional training and development is encouraged and supported.

Band 6 Physiotherapist, 37.5 hours per week, Chelsea based.

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different clinical units gaining experience in Private Care, Respiratory Care, GI, Urology, Haematology-Oncology, Gynae-Oncology, Sarcoma, Head and Neck, Breast, Lung, Urology and Rehabilitation. We are looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapist with some experience in the field of oncology to work as a part a multidisciplinary team with this challenging and rewarding patient group. You will be supported by senior colleagues, with regular supervision and in-service training. This post is a 9 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
