Together they are acknowledged to be one of the largest comprehensive cancer centres in the world. The Royal Marsden serves a local, regional, national and international population from two hospital sites, Chelsea and Sutton.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking doctor to the post of Gynaecological Oncology Surgical Fellow working predominantly at the Fulham Road (Chelsea).

The trainee will join a well-established team of four Consultant Gynaecological Oncologists, four medical oncologists and two clinical oncologists in the provision of Gynaecology Oncology Services. The full range of surgeries in gynaecological oncology by open and minimal access approaches is provided. There is also an expectation that the post holder participate in discussions with the Consultant group about performance, clinical system improvements, patient safety, education and training as well as day to day management issues.

This post will form part of the 1:7 pelvic surgery rota based at Chelsea; the rota is non-resident and provides cover for both sites of the Trust. There are is no obstetric component. On-call arrangements will be within the regulation of the European Union directive.

Applicants must be eligible for full registration with the GMC; MRCOG (part 2 essential, part 3 desirable) or equivalent and have experience in gynaecological oncology. Please note this is not an RCOG subspecialty training post.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
