The Royal Marsden is a world-leading comprehensive Cancer Centre specializing in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education. This is a fast paced Medical Day Unit which provides a variety of chemotherapy and anti-cancer drugs as well as supportive therapies.
We provide excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in a well-resourced environment. Many of the courses we offer are delivered on site at The Royal Marsden School of Cancer Nursing and Rehabilitation.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Band 6 Staff Nurse to join the Private Patient Medical Day Unit at the Royal Marsden in Chelsea, on a full time permanent basis.

You will need to be a 1st level registered nurse. Demonstrable post registration and experience in the administration of IV medications and chemotherapy is essential. Intravenous cannulation and venipuncture are desirable, however full training will be given. In addition you will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be reliable, enthusiastic and an effective team member committed to providing the highest level of service to our patients.

Our Private Care team runs the most successful NHS private patient unit in the UK and all of the income generated is reinvested in research, facilities and clinical care for the benefit of all our NHS and private patients.  In 2020 we will be opening our new cancer centre for private patients located in Cavendish Square, Marylebone Central London.
