The Royal Marsden is a world-leading comprehensive cancer centre specialising in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a fixed term 12 months band 5 staff nurse to join our Private Care Medical Day Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Fulham Road, Chelsea. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team.
This is a fast paced and busy Medical Day Unit which provides a variety of chemotherapy and anti cancer drugs as well as supportive therapies.

We work closely with the unit Doctors and Pharmacists to provide the highest possible standard of patient care.

We are a dedicated, professional, and friendly team and would welcome an experienced, enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated nurse to join us. We are committed to teaching and supporting staff and are looking for these qualities in a new team member. We provide excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in a well resourced environment. Many of the courses we offer are delivered on site at The Royal Marsden School of Cancer Nursing and Rehabilitation.

To apply for this post you will be:

A nurse registered with the NMC who has the skills to care for patients with cancer. You will also have relevant oncology nursing experience and ideally hold a post registration oncology qualification and must be accredited for chemotherapy administration.
Phlebotomy & Cannulation are desirable but training will be provided if necessary.

In addition you will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, is a reliable, enthusiastic and effective team member, and be committed to providing the highest level of service to our patients.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
