The Royal Marsden Critical Care Unit is the only level 3 critical care facility dedicated entirely to cancer patients in the United Kingdom and boasts some of the best survival rates for critically ill haematology-oncology patients in Europe. Patients are frequently admitted following major surgery or for the management of underlying health conditions, cancer or cancer-related treatment.

The 16 bed CCU on the Chelsea site is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. There are seven isolation rooms, including two dedicated teenage and young adult rooms, a fully interfaced clinical information system and high-end patient entertainment facilities.
You will enjoy working as part of a highly skilled and motivated team.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Sister with ITU/CCU experience to join our team in this acute and varied setting. These posts require motivation, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills. In return we will provide you with the support and skills to empower you to make a valued contribution to the RMH Critical Care Unit.

Our CCU values underpin all that we do for patients, family and staff; we aspire to be compassionate, supportive, personal and open. Patient and family experience is central to everything we do and your experience and input in supporting the senior sisters , nurses and wider MDT will be paramount in helping to provide the standards our patients and families expect.
