Are you a nurse looking to join a dynamic team of nurses who work closely with the trust’s Acute Oncology Team? We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of the team to develop their career in acute oncology. At the Royal Marsden we have excellent career development opportunities within the acute oncology service. Within this role we would offer you the opportunity to develop you skills in autonomy, critical decision making, telephone triage skills, problem solving and physical assessment. This will involve shift work with a rotation on the telephone triage to cover the service 7 days per week.

A minimum of 1 years oncology experience within an acute cancer/ haematology setting is desired; also an accredited oncology/haematology qualification is expected. There are plenty of opportunities to attend in house teaching sessions to cover all clinical specialities to support your role on the telephone triage, and clinical assessment Unit. We have strong links to education through the Royal Marsden School to also support your development.
