The Royal Marsden School is a center of excellence in healthcare education. We are seeking a highly qualified, experienced nurse who is currently practicing as an advanced practitioner (including non-medical prescriber) to join our friendly team on a part time basis to cover maternity leave.

The post-holder will be primarily involved in supporting and assessing the development of students studying three modules (physical assessment; V300 and advanced clinical assessment). However, if appropriate, the post-holder will be able to contribute to wider work in the School.

It is desirable if the applicants hold a recognised educational qualification (eg PgDipEd or MEd/MA Education), NMC RNT status, and have experience in teaching plus a cancer-related qualification (or equivalent experience in cancer care). However, training and support will be given. The applicant must be working  as an advanced practitioner in a clinical setting and intend to continue to work clinically in addition to the part time teaching role in the School.
