Are you a nurse looking to join a dynamic team of nurses who work closely with the trust’s Acute Oncology Team? We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of the team to develop their autonomy in decision making, telephone triage skills, problem solving and physical assessment.

This will involve shift work with a rotation on the telephone triage and onto the clinical assessment unit. A minimum of 1 years oncology experience is desirable with some chemotherapy/ haematology/acute oncology experience being preferable however support will be provided for those who require it. From this post you will also develop leadership skills with the potential to be enrolled onto the trusts senior staff nurse development course.

There is plenty of opportunity for development and to attend teaching sessions in this job role as we provide and share learning to cover all clinical specialities to support your role on the telephone triage. Please do not hesitate to contact the Ward Sister to arrange an informal meeting.
