Health Care Assistant Band 2
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust
Outpatient Department Chelsea
Permanent
Full time (37.5 hours per week)

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is one of the leading cancer centres in the world and has an international reputation for the care and treatment it provides.  The Royal Marsden serves a local, regional, national and international population from two hospital sites, Chelsea and Sutton.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Health Care Assistants to join our nursing team to help support our patients in the Outpatients department at the Chelsea site. This is a great opportunity to develop your existing skills and knowledge, but also to learn new ones, including working in the blood room and a variety of clinics.
There are many new and exciting educational opportunities for Health Care Assistants within the Royal Marsden Trust at the moment.  The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is at the forefront in the delivery of the Care Certificate, which is the start of the career journey for Healthcare Support Workers.
The aim of the Care Certificate is to ensure that all new and existing support staff are taught and can demonstrate the right skills, knowledge and behaviour to provide high quality compassionate care. All applicants must have completed the Care Certificate or be in the process of completing it.
The successful candidate will be a Health Care Assistant with experience within a hospital setting.
