Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Engineering Administrator, to join our team in delivering clinical engineering services to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of the team, providing cross-site administrative support on both our Chelsea (SW3) and Sutton (SM2) sites. Duties include but are not exclusive to; updating the medical equipment and contracts database (e-Quip), liaising with external medical equipment maintenance contractors, updating the workforce system (HealthRoster), taking minutes and providing reports for department meetings, raising requisitions for approval using the purchasing system (Oracle/SBS) and supporting the administration of the Quality Management system.

The ideal candidate will have a good general education, have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and all levels of health care professionals and be able to work effectively as part of a team and with staff at all levels. They will be able to prioritise their own workload, have administrative experience in a busy hospital environment and are at an intermediate or advance level of using Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience of working in a NHS Clinical Engineering Department would be an desirable but not essential.
